Borland House was a pleasant stay. Clean, Friendly, Warm, Historic Feel, Comfortable Bri greeted us when we arrived and was extremely friendly and accommodating Bed was comfortable, room was cozy, very clean, water pressure is sufficient and the building itself gives off a warm and at home vibe. The owner cares about details. Beautiful B&B. Not many that compare, at least in this modest/reasonable price range. We loved it.

The hotel advertised 24/7 coffee and tea availability, but making coffee turned out to be more complicated than expected, with several requirements and restrictions. It was also unclear where to get hot for tea. Some of the cups were not clean, and several towels had visible stains on them. Overall, these details were disappointing and could definitely be improved.

A beautiful comfortable stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and were readily accessible for any questions or needs. What a wonderful help to find a pet friendly Bed and Breakfast. We had to leave early and sadly could not stay for breakfast. However graciously we were sent off with wonderful breakfast sandwiches, fruit and coffee!

I loved the antiques, art and decor. I had the "Bluebird Room" inspired by the Symbolist playwright Maurice Maerterlinck. Easy street parking in front and short walk to a variety of restaurants. The breakfast was very good with farmfresh eggs. Look forward to next time.

Did you ever want to experience what it would be like to stay at a bed in breakfast? Well this is the place to go! So quaint and cute! Located right in the heart of the town of Montgomery. Plenty of things to walk to and see in the area. Brianna the manager was wonderful. Very helpful and informative. The breakfast choices were delicious. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

This is my second stay. My first stay was quite good. This time we were in the "Humming bird" room. It was perhaps service quarters in the historical past. It was a dump. Not the overall inn or its surroundings, just the humming bird room. There is no need to think about a return visit. Microtel is better.
