"I recently stayed at the Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is nestled in a beautiful location near Lake Yamanaka, surrounded by nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, and the service from the staff was consistently courteous and professional.
However, the one major downside was the breakfast system. Breakfast is included in my reservation, but I was surprised to find that guests are required to book a specific time slot in advance. Unfortunately, I checked in later in the evening, and by then, all the convenient breakfast slots were already taken. This left me with either a very late option or none at all—neither of which worked for me, as I had an early departure the next morning.
It's quite inconvenient, especially for travelers who need to leave early and would reasonably expect to make use of the included breakfast. I ultimately had to skip it altogether, which was disappointing. I hope the hotel considers offering more flexible breakfast arrangements in the future, or at least provides some form of alternative (like a takeaway option) for guests in similar situations.

"The service staff in the hotel are very friendly, they will explain anything you want in detail and help you to solve
The location is good, you can walk to the Otsuki JR station after the breakfast, and go to visit Mount Fuji, any scenic spots will be arrived soon~"
"This is one of the best stays in Japan we have experienced. We are a family of 4, with 2 young children aged 2 and 4. From the moment we drove into the carpark, to the check in service, late night request for a diaper bin, until the very last moment we left, Sorano gave us a warm welcoming and relaxing feeling with excellent service. We are already saying next time wehn we visit Tokyo we will come back."
"This is my second stay at this hotel, and the service remains impeccable, especially in terms of room cleanliness and organization.
The breakfast menu varies every other day, which is a nice touch.
However, I was slightly disappointed that the live egg-cooking station by the chef has been discontinued.
Overall, it is an excellent hotel and a great choice for anyone visiting Tachikawa City in Tokyo."
