"Our room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff, front desk & restaurant/bar, were friendly, helpful and professional. Very much appreciated that breakfast was included in our room rate. Breakfast was primarily a buffet with plenty of options, from fresh fruit to 4 hot options, juices and pastries. We could also request cooked to order eggs & omelette. Dinner at 1931 was outstanding and reasonably priced, although services was very slow. Have always loved this hotel for its elegance and art deco vibe, having send that the hotel itself is showing its age, much of the furniture in the bar area is well worn and needs replaced. I noticed the ceiling in the restaurant/bar area was peeling and in need of repair."

"The room was clean, the women at the front desk are always helpful and kind. I've stayed here three times and would come back, and / or recommend it to others. I only gave it four stars because this time the door stuck, the toilet was difficult to flush and the toilet paper holder had been broken and was barely in the wall. I put some muscle into closing the door and flushing and put the tp roll on the counter so that was that. Oh, I did almost forget this time the fridge wasn't the best. Whatever setting it was on leaked onto my food. That was a definite bummer that hadn't happened before. There is an elevator. Tv works, there are decent plugs and light, the couch and desk were good for working. I used my own WiFi,so i can't comment on that, but T-Mobile has good service there. Breakfast smells good, but it too late for me to do anything but grab an apple on the way out, which I really appreciate!!"
