"Having read reviews of the property I was a little skeptical about the condition of the property but was pleasantly surprised about how good it was. Very clean, nice clean sheets and towels and lots of room. My only complaints (minor) were that I was I found the apartment cold (could only find one working heater) and that in the bedroom I used there was only one power outlet. All in all I would stay here again and loved how close it was to everything I needed. Excellent value for money."

The breakfast was excellent – perfectly cooked eggs and bacon, a great variety of fresh breads and rolls, and loads of pastries to enjoy. I stayed in one of the large farmhouse rooms just across the road from the main hotel (check-in is over there). "The room was clean and the staff were nice. The breakfast was excellent. It was served in the coach house which made the setting unique. They had a variety of different foods to choose from. The bread selection was top notch. The grounds were beautiful and a nice quiet sanctuary after a day of touring. They have a self service honor bar with a nice variety of local beers and snacks. I would stay here again."
