「Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay.」

「A clean quiet hotel in a good location about 15 minutes walk along the promenade from the centre of Swanage. Staff are very helpful. Serves breakfast and dinner and has a spa in the basement and pleasant beer garden right above the beach. The parking is very limited and the only other downside is that the bed is one of the least comfortable (/older?) that I have slept in.」

「We arrived a bit late and were welcomed by a friendly and warm member of the staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast a bit poor with not hot or meat or eggs options, but would stay again if we’re to come back. 」

「This really wasn’t a pleasant stay. I arrived and we showed to my room which was freezing cold as the radiator wasn’t turned on. I tried to book a table for 8:30 pm but was told the kitchen closed at 8 pm. Even when I arrive home from dinner the room was still freezing and the duvet cover was very thin. The window banged all night heating didn’t come on early in the morning. I was cold all night.The breakfast the following day was awful.」

「a farmhouse, you can feel the humidity of the stone wall room, a bit too dark inside the room, but general acceptable beautiful environment, you can enjoy a very good countryside view (inc the corfe castle ruins), if you dont want to drive to the town to have lunch or dinner, you can enjoy the local meal at the farmhouse restaurant」

「Nice room, easy to operate shower, very quiet, friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that. But excellent value and would definitely recommend and stay here again. 」

「Not really 4 star by its standards. If not for the amazing view this hotel could not command the prices that it does. restaurant menu very limited, staff in restaurant do not attend very promptly to tyhe tables. Decor is tired, room OK but bathroom poor.」

「Central location. Room was lovely. Modern fixtures and fittings. Comfortable bed. TV reception wasn't great but probably not the hosts fault. 」
