“The curtains to eliminate light were the worst I have experienced. It was essentially daylight all night long. The AC was as loud as having a truck idling in the room. I wouldn’t expect anything to be done about the AC noise due to the cost of a new system, but the light issue alone would prevent me from ever lodging there again. A final point: We chose your establishment as being closest to our reason for visiting Ouray, the waterfall and Black Swifts. In our great enthusiasm, we asked……

“I like the old school feel the property has. Upon arrival we were told that the property was under new ownership and things were different. We needed to wait until exactly 2pm to check in and could not use the amenities until we checked it. This was different for the past.”

“Stayed here for the Fourth of July and the experience did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a bigger room and didn’t have any issues with extending our stay by a day. The staff were super nice and professional and the complimentary bottle of wine was a fun way to end the trip. The hotel is also just a few hundred feet from the Gondola, which made it easy to get to/from the town of Telluride. It would be nice if the dining area was opened up to the patio so people could sit outside for……

“Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!”

“We’ve stayed at The Peaks on several occasions, and sadly, this trip was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we checked in, the experience was poor. The front desk employee was curt and provided virtually no information about the hotel or amenities. We weren’t told that the pool was under construction, the waterslide was closed, the game room was closed, or that the restaurant wasn’t open. We weren’t given the Wi-Fi password, told where to find breakfast or what the coffee shop offered,……
