“Beautiful and cozy! Rebecca is the best and will help and accommodate with whatever she can! Amazing place to stay. Unfortunately it’s not a swimmable body of water in this area (according to locals) but the beautiful deck and alternative water sports offered by the place really makes up for it. Highly recommended.”

“It was a truly a piece of paradise in many ways. The hosting family works hard to take good care of the property and guests. After staying 10 days, I felt like I've become a part of their extended family. Always remember the key to receive best hospitality is "do unto others what you would have them do unto you."”

“If your looking to get away and enjoy nature this is the place to go. The house has the the amenities you need and more. The owner was great at sending detailed videos of exactly how to get to the property and walking trails near by. He was also Great at responding to any questions we had within minutes. The property and the area felt very safe as well. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return.”

“Completely off grid, very relaxing. Deck overlooking the jungle, a short walk to an amazing beach you have mostly to yourself. Shuttle bus goes right by the property every hour to take you into Bocas town. Owner's staff is very friendly and helpful. Howler monkeys and frogs entertain you at night with their conversations. We couldn't recommend this place more!”

“Wonderful spot, basic accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Our room had a nice deck but being set back didn’t get nearly as good a breeze as the shared deck space further out over the water. You can organize tours and water taxis to pick you up right there. Rebecca, the manager, is lovely and very helpful in organizing taxis and sharing information ”

“I stayed at the tree house unit. Very secluded and totally surrounded by nature with no neighbors. A few bugs but that is to be expected with an open kitchen area and sleeping in a tree house. Would highly recommend for the more adventurous. They also have private enclosed cabine to rent with all the facilities required. Pool are was very nice and all of the landscaping was excellent. Will definitely stay again in the future.”

“We had a very nice stay at Cabanas Potosi. The host was was very helpful and communicative and made things easy for us. The place has a lovely garden. There are only four rooms I think, which makes for a quieter stay. If you are looking for something super fancy then this place is probably not for you. We will recommend this place to others.”

“No contact person on site, accommodation was not available. We are still waiting for the reimbursement of the costs (prepayment). We had to organize a new accommodation in the evening. With a 4 year old child a disaster. No recommendation!”

“Communication was good and highly organized. We felt safe and didn’t need to lock up our bags or valuables at all times. Weather was rough (not their fault) so the stay was a challenge with super high winds and rain. The island was covered in trash nearly all the way around. Our cabin doors were off hinge and barely closed. The shower and sink were filthy and the toilet stained. The water smelled strongly of sulpher so we did not shower nor use it for anything other than a hand wash. Food was……

“I was told to call 24 hours in advance, and the lady that answered said we did not have a reservation and she spoke very good English, and this was two phone calls one by me and one by my friend who is Panamanian. She said she had not dealt with Hotels.com since Covid, I booked another place not through hotels.com You refused to publish my review… and that is wrong wrong wrong. Hotels.com should fix the problem!”
