“I went by this place 5 years ago on another trip and said to myself cool, I’m staying there the next time. I was not disappointed! The breakfast’s were so unique, delicious and Anna serviced them up hot with a smile. Oh people say it’s too far from town, soooo! You just drive down to the visitor center at Hull’s Cove pay to park, it’s good for a week, and take the Island Explorer bus to downtown or other stops. I definitely will stay at Coach Stop Inn again wonderful experience!”

Our stay was made more memorable by the courtesy shown from our hostess Carolyn who gave us much information on her lovely home and it's idyllic setting. “The hotel is lovely! Our room 203 was well appointed and spacious (living area, kitchen, dining table, separate bedroom and bath). The gas fireplace in the living room was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. One can easily walk to restaurants, shops and the Harbor. The only downside to the experience was some loud noises because of trash pick up/snowplowing. It was November and there was a small snow storm, the room backs up to a food coop. They plowed at 11 pm, 3:30am and then trash pick……

“Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. Just a small thing, I don't think the heat in my room was on and it felt about 10 degrees colder in there than in the hallway outside. This is likely not an issue for……

“Master room... clean, great bed, and nice decor. Assistance was prompt and helpful when needed. I was hoping the balcony had a view and a nice sunset. Unfortunately, it overlooked a busy street and powerlines. ”

“The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge.”

“The home was perfect for myself, husband and adult son. This home has a large kitchen and the most well stocked rental I have ever stayed at. The living room had plenty of comfortable furniture for all of us to relax on. Beds were comfortable and the entire rental was clean. Super close to the national park, less than 10 minutes. We had a wonderful stay and would stay here again if we travel back to Bar Harbor Maine.”
