「This was lovely place to stay - we were in the last two 'legs' of a 1300 mile road trip to Scotland (and back!) - possibly the best, as it matched all our needs for a quiet evening, in a beautifully-appointed, clean ensuite room, and a restful comfortable sleep! Our hosts, Mark & Paula were welcoming (tasty cookies!), quiet and unobtrusive (checking what bed configuration - king or twin - we wanted in advance), serving our preferred choice of tasty breakfasts at our room 's table & chairs....

「Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10」

「This is a wonderful place to stay--convenient to the train station and the center of town, but in a quiet area. We stayed twice, before and after hiking in the Lakes District, and stayed in two different rooms. The beds are very comfortable, and both rooms had space for us to spread out. Tip: when it's really hot, the lower floors are cooler! Breakfast is great; we only got the continental, but it comes with porridge or overnight oats, and the menu for full breakfast looked fantastic and Sue...

「It’s a premier inn Self check in seemed ok a bit impersonal On arrival we were early and no power in hotel but all good we returned later It’s on a courtyard shared with sainsbury Penrith itself isn’t very inviting but the hotel is ok」

「1階がバブになっているので、ビールなど手軽に飲むことができます。 シャワー・トイレスペースはとても広く、ゆったりと使うことが出来ました。 部屋には冷蔵庫が設置されていて、近所のスーパーで買った飲み物や要冷蔵食品も安心して保管出来ました。 2026年7月(UKでも猛暑)で、とても暑い日が続いていたので、部屋内に小型の扇風機があると、さらに快適に過ごせたと思います。 スタッフは皆さんとても親切でした。」

「Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, showing us where to park. The cooler breakfast was really nice. The room was absolutely boiling and even with the windows open all evening it was a poor nights sleep. No aircon and only a little fan. Very firm mattress but it realise this is preference. My husband loved it but I didn’t sleep at all. Close to amenities and nice and quiet. Overall would stay again.」
