“Very clean quaint property. Our room was situated overlooking a busy 4-way stop which made it a bit loud for sleeping when the trucks with loud mufflers rolled through but rested well just the same. Recommend this property for those looking for a quaint historic stay within walking distance to the Mighty Mississippi! ”

“I'm trying to be fair. 3 stars because it is a beautiful location would be a 5 if we didn't experience issues.Upon arrival: Most of the dishes were unclean (we cleaned everything we wanted to use when we arrived). No dish clothes to wash the dishes so we had to use a towel. Dozens of flies (we killed several, others just joined us as un-invited guests). Water went out (after contacting owner we found out their system flushes every 3 days and water is out about an hour but should have……

“Overall we had a great visit. Just trying to be honest with the review. There are a ton of stains on the back stairway carpet that look like they could be mold. The bathrooms weren't particularly clean. Wallpaper was peeling in places. It could use a touch up for sure, but we did stay comfortably and enjoyed the town.”

“Host double booked over me for his “private” hunting business. Couldn’t use living room or kitchen because his other guests had all their hunting gear in them. My bed collapsed the second day. Real nightmare. I would never recommend this property to anyone. ”
