“Quiet and Comfort. Close to main street”

“Rooms are dirty and nasty they do no clean. The room has bed bugs”

“It was perfect! Just what we needed for a quick visit with family and could bring the dog!”

“The pictures on the Vrbo site didn't match what we actually received. The A/C didn't work on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The were no box springs on any of the beds. I felt like our host was giving us the run around. We were here from Jun 26th to July 5th. The last time I heard anything from the host was June 30th. Too much money was paid(2500) for this place to lack basic amenities in this Virginia heat”

“Didn’t like king bed in upstairs with a-frame ceiling”

“I loved the easy check in process. The host was wonderful. We left some items at the home even though we swept through the home multiple times. But they were able to send our items back to us. That was much appreciated. Home had some internet issues but other than that we enjoyed our stay.”

“We had so much fun exploring the Historic Downtown houses, businesses and market on Saturday. Great location for access to all the neighboring cities. Less than a half hour drive to the beach and lots of family fun.”

“Place was clean. No problem finding parking nearby, Easy to get into with door code given. Not a lot of restaurants around, but there was a good pizza restaurant/bar nearby. It's a good place to stay if you want to pay less than the hotels in and around downtown Norfolk. Easy to get to Norfolk by car or ferry.”

“The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to vacation here, but the house was not clean, the floors were filthy, leaving our socks and feet black if we went without shoes. We did clean all the floors, several times while there, because it took several cleanings before our socks and feet did not turn black, and before we checked out. The trash cans, one large and one small were overflowing when we arrived. The owners did send people out to pick up……

“We were unable to stay in this location because of the extremely narrow and steep stairwell that you have to climb up to in order to get to the apartment. This place is not for the elderly. I am only 60 years old and in great health, the stairs were scary for me. The balcony is also very sketchy. The door to the balcony would not lock. Also, the location was a little bit suspicious with the toilet randomly sitting next to the house. Communication with the host was very good however, he also had……

“The host was very responsive, the home was spacious and we loved that there was laundry available. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and yes there was a small smell of Marijuana OUTSIDE maybe once a night from the neighbors but if that's an issue for you, you need to rent an island because that's everywhere these days. For what we paid we got a lot more than we expected and would stay again.”

“The home was very spacious and functional. Pictures were a true representation of the property. The house is easy to get to, close to various retailers in case you need something. I had no problems receiving my Walmart and Sam’s Club deliveries. Even with the house being on a main road, it doesn’t feel like it at all. Host had great communication. We didn’t need anything at all but felt very comfortable to reach out to her. We stayed in this town a year ago and had a great time. This property……

“Home was clean and had everything I needed for the stay. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking essentials & for coffee. Great location for my itinerary for this trip. I would stay again.”
