“We had a great time staying here for a romantic getaway weekend. Apartment was very clean and a fun place to stay. It is right in the heart of downtown Galena a perfect location to enjoy shopping, fine dining, and beautiful historic architecture. Street Parking was a struggle, as there is no designated parking. The WiFi was very slow and spotty, so be prepared to unplug (mostly) when you visit. Great place to spend the weekend! Would highly recommend!”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the Drake House. It was a great place to relax and reconnect. We ate at the wonderful coffee house below us and had a fantastic dinner in the city within walking distance. We enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy layout of the place. This is a return visit for us because we like this place:)”

“First off, you can’t beat the location and dedicated parking space! The suite was the perfect size for 4-5 people! Even though there is not a dining table the island had plenty of room for us to spread out to use for our various needs. The beds were so comfortable!!! All of us have different bed preferences but everyone was so happy with how well we slept in them! There were enough side tables for everyone to use. We’ve stayed at our share of vrbos and it was so nice to have toilet paper and……

“We loved the condo for our Family's Bachelorette Weekend! Bedroom perfect for 7 girls and 3 full bathrooms. Big dining room table for us to play games at night. Good price for what we got. Had everything we needed. Perfect Location - one block from Main Street where tons of restaurants and shopping. We loved our stay. Highly recommended and we will come back and stay again!!!”

“This was a great rental. Nice and clean with a perfect location. The parking space was much appreciated as there was no other parking anywhere nearby. Kitchen is minimal (but accurate in pictures and listing). Queen bed was very firm which I loved.”

“The location was Great, GPS off a lil bit. There was a messy tree that our shoes dragged little buds in all the time. The key box was a little hard to open. The pool was not used because we couldn't figure out what or where to go. There are a lot of stairs. It is on three different floors. Missing was a home feeling. Little touches that make it feel personal. The beds were comfortable.”

While it would be a 15 minute or so walk to Main Street, we did drive as there was no way our old lady bones could have walked those hills especially with all our shopping bags.. There is a weird noise in the house.when it started raining. Kinda sounds like a weed wacker constantly going.”
