“Hotel is in very good location and has a parking garage. The parking is paid per day but the nearby parking is very limited or the same price, so it's worth it. The furniture is older but in good condition. I did not like the breakfast options, there are fruits, eggs, ham, sausages, some fresh juices but no vegetables. Excellent fruits though. ”

“Great small hotel right in the centre of Funchal. Comfortable room and nice breakfast. The Guest Relations coordinator, Carolina, is wonderful. She was so helpful, kind and patient. Listened to us and found the right tours and places for us to visit ant to eat. She is a total credit to the hotel. 🙏”

“The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The outside pool was lovely as well as indoor spa. Not hot but refreshing. ”

“The Perestrello has recently been refurbished and our room on the 2nd floor of the annex was lovely. The bed was comfy, the room had plenty of storage/hanging space, a good size safe, small refrigerator and quiet air conditioning. The bathroom was spotless with a walk in rain fall shower. Our room had a balcony which got the sun until early afternoon. We used the pool in the garden as well as the one in the adjoining (by a short bridge) Miramar. The gardens and pool areas are really well cared……

“Very good location near historic old town. A few minutes walk from the Aerobus (airport to town public transport) stop. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were all very welcoming and gave advice on local trips etc.... Glad we chose to stay here.”

“Wir waren jetzt zum dritten Mal in diesem Hotel und sind auch weiterhin sehr zufrieden. Besonders positiv sind auch Frühstück und Abendessen zu erwähnen. Die Getränkepreise beim essen und an der Bar sind etwas hoch aber noch angemessen. Der Innenpool ist zwar etwas klein und mit Säulen auch etwas verbaut aber zur richtigen Zeit nicht so voll und dann reicht auch der Platz. Das Abendprogramm ist gut, würde aber wahrscheinlich etwas besser besucht sein wenn das Programm nicht zum Teil mit den……
