「Perfect stay, minutes to Timberline and Canaan Ski resorts! We’ve been making day trips to Canaan Valley for skiing for three years now, and this was our first time staying in the area. Black Bear Resort is nestled in the valley with a stunning view of Timberline, the room was spotless, the en-suite jacuzzi tub was much needed after a day on the slopes, and the bed was comfy with lots of extra pillows and blankets available. Our suite was nice and clean. Some of the lights didnt work so it felt dark in our room. The bed upstairs was very firm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We liked having the sofa bed and huge TV. 「We did stay off season during the week so the property was quiet. Unit was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. The fireplace was not working and it was reported and no one fixed it or communicated about the issue. There was not a TV in the bedroom. Overall good experience and would stay again.」
