Lovely Colonia Experience
Nancy’s place was immaculate, lovingly decorated and modern. Kitchen well outfitted nice new Frenchdoor fridge/ freezer. AC all rooms though sliding doors at each end of flat provided good breeze. Great bathrooms with modern faiucets and good water pressure.Lots of lovely clean towels including a beach basket and towels in each room. The king bed was super comfortable but the twins were a bit too firm.
Lovely pool area, however, 2 extra loungers or chairs would be better so both upstairs and downstairs guests have places to sit/ lie poolside. The neighborhood feels safe with lots of peole walking their dogs. There are several places to eat, laundries, convenience stores within easy walking distance. The Colectivo also comes around regularly if you dont want to walk the 2km to the town centre. Lots of great restos to choose from, a lively town square( swing dance lessons!) and two good grocery stores. Lots of smaller local shops selling all sorts of goods. Its about 5 km to port side , 70 P taxi or trn peso colectivo.
I look forward to staying there again.
