“What a dream location! It was our first trip to Hawaii. There’s no better place stay! The location is ideal, if you want to stay in the peace and quiet of the North Shore. The Hukilau Marketplace is less than 10 minutes down the road with some great food trucks. The beach is beautiful and quiet. Often we had the beach to ourselves! The best part is falling asleep to the crashing waves and the breeze of the cool trade winds.”

“Place was as advertised. Close to many things to do. Enjoyed the pool. Only wish was to have a stovein the ktichen, but we knew that before we booked. Owners were great to work with.”

“Exactly as presented online, no surprises. Two parents and two teens, and no privacy, but we were prepared for that. Great breeze throughout so no issues with heat, though it's still April, so not sure how summer would be. Beach path right around the corner, very easy access. Basic accommodations, but that's what we were looking for. Close to everything you need in North Shore. We had a great week, thanks Chris and Sam!”

“Our stay started during a blackout, so I can be forgiven for thinking that, at first, I had just entered into a horror movie. But when the lights came back on, my family and I found ourselves in a lovely house. The house is a little bit off the path, but the yard is enormous and also has fruit trees, a starfruit, star apple, and I think one I couldn't identify. The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, though one bathroom is literally attached to one of the bedrooms. If you don't mind……

“The house and beach access were just as it was advertised. Beautiful beach, house and yard! The home was very roomy and accommodated all the family needs. The yard provided lots of parking. We had full access to beach toys (kayak, paddle & boogie boards, snorkels, etc.). The kitchen had every gadget you could want or need. Each bathroom had 2 accesses, which can be challenging with 6 kids and minimal boundaries. I would definitely recommend this property.”

“We are a family of four with 2 kids under the age of 13 and couldn't have had a better experience. The house is about as convenient to both Lanikai and Kailua as you can get, easy walk or bike to both. It is a perfect combination of relaxed decor, cleanliness and amenities. Everything you need for the beach and day to day living is there, readily available and works. It's an easy place to relax in and be comfortable. The view is fantastic. Noni is the best and the best combination of hosts,……

“Great communication with host. Very responsive. Offered to pick up a few groceries to get us started, since we were coming in late at night. Attentive to our needs. Shower head popped off and had a brand new one installed by the time we returned to the property. Bottom line five star property and host.”

“My family and I loved this place . There were 5 of us staying here and we had plenty of room . I loved that we were out of the city but in the middle to where we could wake up and go to Turtle Bay or Honolulu . This home had everything we needed . Very close to alot of little towns I enjoyed taking drives along the coast. I would also have coffee in the morning and look at the beautiful sky with the palm trees and even see a few chickens running around . And at night you can hear the ocean and……

“My family (with two kids) stayed 4 nights and found that it was the perfect location with a great family atmosphere. We enjoyed the our mornings on the beach and even saw saw turtles and a seal, and found the location was perfect for our day trips and we drove to all points of the island. The had a couple of meals from the food trucks that was a short walk down the road.”

“As others have said the building is under renovation. Our first morning there was a Friday and the crew showed up but it was raining too hard. Then the weekend so we did not have work going on while we there. We did have scaffolding in front but it didn't spoil the view or our time on the lanai. The unit is lovingly decorated and very well furnished in both the kitchen and beach equipment. The king size bed was quite comfortable, the murphy bed not as much. But the separation of space was ideal……
