From the night we arrived we had so many issues with the hotel. We opened the door to our room & found the safe in the middle of the floor along with a bunch of tools. The bellman immediately called to have someone come deal with it. It was late so when no one came after waiting over an hour we went to get food & had to bring all our valuables with us. No one ever showed that night. The following day we called 4 different times and were told repeatedly that someone was on there way. After 4 HOURS of sitting in the room, someone FINALLY showed up. When I went to the front desk to complain the manager tried to offer me a late check out. I thought the guy was joking!! I told him that was not good enough. So instead he offered my husband and I each a 25 min massage. When we went to the spa & tried to redeem them, my husband was told he needed to go somewhere else. He went there and was told it wasn't the right place either. We couldn't find where to go and it was our last day there. We couldn't go sooner because of other plans, so we never got to use the vouchers. The food at the buffet was not good, but the restaurants that we could make reservations at were good. However, there was one night that we went to a dinner and when I sat down in the chair it was so weak that it broke and I immediately fell to the floor. I will never stay there again! And I wouldn't recommend anyone else stay there either!

Great family experience. Service was on point. IL gourmet restaurant is must. Pablo the manager was great. He made sure we were all taken care but I’m sure he’s like that with all the enter through the door. Kids had all around fun and experience was exciting.

The resort was nice. It's perfect if you have very small children and if you dont mind being woken up every morning at 7am by children crying and screaming little kids in the hallways. I have teens and they tried to go to the teen club several times during our stay and it was locked. We didnt realize that this property and several other Bahia properties were all together. That's ok, but we were not allowed to get drinks at the other properties' bars. The bartenders would not serve us. The al la carte restaurants were all booked up so we could not get a reservation. I would have liked to have more alcohol options in the room besides the 2 cans of beer that they put in the little fridge. Overall, the vacation wasn't terrible, it was just OK. I dont plan on going back to this particular resort in the future.

Our stay was phenomenal. We traveled with a toddler so it was very important to have a hotel that offered entertainment for our son. The resort had face painting, dancing for kids, a kids club, babysitting services, a Disney like look, characters, and separate kids buffet at the fancier restaurants. The kids waterpark and pools having shallow zones so our son could play without us having to hold him in the pools made things very easy. One star is removed due to the food being sub par even for an all inclusive, but the dinner buffet and Gourmet restaurant was very good. Rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. Overall, we would definitely return with our young child. If you are looking for a resort for your toddler or young child to be entertained, this is definitely the place.

Did not have hot water first 2 days and nights. The “privilege membership” sales representatives were overly aggressive and took 2 hours out of our day to explain something that could have taken 15 minutes. They gave us a voucher for our time that we didn’t use because it was not worthy compared to price of what the voucher offered. Other than that great place. DR is beautiful and resort is as well.

The bathroom wasn't clean. Most of the days they just changed towels but didn't clean toilet or bathroom that all. Restaurant staff was really kind.
