It’s a really big property and has multiple resorts within the same area. The staff is not geared to manage the same. Minor nit for some but the staff is not very pleasant to interact with.

I had my pool bag "stolen." I left my belongings on two lounge chairs: hotel towels, my purse, which contained valuables like a cell phone and my prescription glasses. The rest were pool items, plus flip-flops around the lounge chairs. We went into the water with our son and stayed for about 30 minutes. When we returned, there were two people in our spot. At first, we thought we had the wrong spot. We asked the people if they had seen our things, and they said it was empty when they arrived. We called security and explained what had happened, but instead of being welcomed, we were constantly questioned as if we were wrong and might have been robbed. They said we had to follow procedures by filling out a form, which I completely understand. However, the security guards showed no empathy whatsoever. Since I had left my phone in the room—only my wife's was in the bag—I thought I could locate hers using Find My iPhone. We could see her phone moving through the app. I tried to show them, but they were more concerned with the procedure, sometimes being rude, as if it were our fault for the disappearance. In the end, they pulled up the camera and saw that, in fact, two people had taken our things, gone after them, and recovered them. When they returned them to us, there was no apology. I felt completely unprotected and neglected by a place whose purpose was to rest and relax. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and will definitely never return.

We had an excellent vacation and the experience at the hotel was very good. The only recommendation I would make is that the food buffets have too many dessert options, and they could increase the variety of food by reducing the desserts. However, the meals were very good and of high quality. The water park area is excellent for traveling with children, as they have a great time and enjoy it a lot.

Excelente estadía nuestras vacaciones en bahía príncipe fantasía el personal muy atento y un servicio excelente y recomiendo mucho al camarero José del Larimar además el Kids club es súper especial y todas las muchachas son espectaculares con los niños además de un chofer de los carritos que te ayudan con la transportación el wuipiwuipi súper persona los pondré en las fotos para que vean quienes son los mejores

It was excellent. This is our second time coming to Fantasia in Punta Cana. The food is great and the staff is amazing, especially Johan in the luggage department and Juan Carlo at the Larimar buffet during breakfast.

The property is great for small children as they have the kids club and the water park area. The activities were great as well. The VIP access didn’t give us much. They just provided us with 20% off at the spa. We were able to go to the other resorts within the Bahia properties but we weren’t allowed to dine at their restaurants unless you booked a reservation. All of the restaurants were fully booked for 6 days upon our arrival to the resort. We were able to dine at the French and Italian restaurants which left a lot to be desired. They seemed to have trouble fitting people into the buffet and often times we were left waiting up to 20 minutes for water. The A.C. In the rooms are set to 20 degrees Celsius. At least ours wouldn’t go below that. After being in the July heat it wasn’t that much of a comfort. Our last day prior to check out the hot water in our room wasn’t functional. The beds were super hard and if you opt for a double bed room the beds are full sized beds. There were also no elevators in our particular villa. The beach had a bunch of seaweed I have to give it 3 stars because of the friendliness of the staff and their eagerness to try and help you. I’ve been to other resorts in D.R. And a majority of the staff has some understanding of English or other foreign languages but I found that hard to come by here. La verdad quedé muy encantada con este hotel muy recomendado para niños y adultos,tienes la opción de disfrutar todos los hoteles de bahía príncipe,desde que llegamos nos recibieron con bebidas de bienvenida para niños y adultos les comentamos que iba hacer el cumpleaños de mi niña y nos dieron un bonito recibimiento,encantada con el personal de cocina siempre atentos que hacía falta ,no puede faltar la housekeeping que nos limpiaba la habitación ella siempre muy atenta su nombre es Yessica,siempre nos ponía nuestra habitación muy. Hermosa y limpia reconocimos mucho su trabajo,las atenciones de Luis el de la recepción muy atento,queríamos un desayuno especial con el monkey y muy bonito todo para la solpresa de nuestra hija ,Expedia nos dio una manilla vip y. Tuvimos muchos beneficios,no puede faltar la atención de Joan siempre le preguntábamos las actividades del día y nos dio opciones para festejar el cumpleaños de mi niña en el restaurante circo,fuimos a 5 restaurantes a la carta gratis reservamos la verdad que no tengo quejas de ninguno todo riquísimo el q me gusto mucho el brasileño con 7 cortes de carne y el francés una langosta que es para chuparse los dedos,luego está la opción que si no te gusta el restaurante puedes pasar al bufet normal,una comida encantadora,siempre complaciendo a mis niñas que no son de mucho comer,la verdad que hacen un gran trabajo,como dice la canción volveré!!!volvere!!!!!!! Te tratan como un rey,el equipo de animación siempre con su carisma
