“This place is a perfect spot to see Charleston. There are great restaurants and shops within easy walking. We parked our car in a nearby garage and didn’t need it while we were there. The room is spacious and felt very comfortable. We are planning on going back there soon!”

The location is on the north end of King street and near restaurants. Supermarket is about a 30 min walk as is many of the things to see in Charleston. Longer than we had expected but still OK. Uptown Social bar next door can get noisy at night so request a room on back side of property if noise is a……

“Wish I was given more info about switching properties. Thought for a couple days that I was being scammed. Luckily, I was not but, better communication would’ve been nice. Overall, it was a good stay, though. Nice property/room/bathroom. Comfortable bed. Just what we needed for a couple nights.”

“It was a nice quiet place to stay while visiting Charleston. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was great. The location is a bit far from the main activity in the historic district but it gives you a good opportunity to walk the full length of King Street and see all of the shops. The only thing I didn’t like was when I booked my hotel it was not clear that this a resort, and I was being booked by one of the timeshare owners and not the resort itself. Also it wasn’t……

“We were very pleased with our stay overall. Our loft was clean and comfortable and convenient to everything. I think it would be important to note in the listing that the washer/dryer amenity listed is actually not available in the unit (I heard there was a laundry on site somewhere though), there is a $35 nightly fee for valet which is virtually impossible to do without, and guests will be approached with a timeshare condo sales pitch. Overall we were very pleased with our unit and would stay……

“This is a nice place to stay! The staff was very accommodating to request. There is lots of options to eat around the area, and it’s fairly secluded near lots of other hotels. it’s easy to find right off the highway A good central location if you are vacationing in Charleston. Having access to a full kitchen helps save money on eating out. I would recommend if your trip is 3 days”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. ”
