「We had a brilliant trip to London staying on the canal boat. Little Venice is such a lovely place to be.The boat has everything you will need and the hosts were fantastic, sorting out any issues promptly for us. Something a bit different, I would definitely recommend」

「This is an extraordinary location. It’s hard to believe you are really in London. The nature preserve on the estuary across from the houseboat makes this an extremely quiet and private spot while still being extremely convenient.When I was choosing this stay, I noticed that the reviews are mixed and that many people Noted that the boat is not perfectly clean or up-to-date. That is true. This is very much a family owned and loved and used houseboat, it’s over 100 years old, and it is not a spiffy...

「The location is absolutely stunning for a unique experience to recommend to friends. The communication was fantastic. The property was beautiful…I wish my own home was as comfortable! It is in a great location, with the DLR line very close by, giving access to so much of London. There were several fun pubs and restaurants easily within walking distance. When we were tired of touring, need to relax was met with beautiful relaxation places on the boat and a Tesco Express close by for food. We...

「Cancelled on us so we didn’t get to stay so I can’t review」

「perfect location, lots going on but at the same time quite quiet, i guess in high season this would be different. Kaia and Bruce perfect hosted. Just a couple of suggestions, a hook on bathroom door and shelves above toilet to put towels and clothes etc on. Maybe a small drop down table in the bedroom. 」

「Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!」

「This is hands down my favorite VRBO I’ve ever rented. I could live full time in this boat. It’s in the perfect location. The marina is very nice and very safe. Tons of dining choices, close to a couple of grocery stores. You can literally see the tower bridge from the marina. It’s across the road from the Tower of London. The boat itself is very nice. It’s clean. It’s well appointed. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. I hope to stay there again. Highly recommended!」

"Early check-in is allowed. Thank you. Location is good especially u are going to/from airport. U can catch heathrow express train. Got grocery shop, restaurant, bus stop, train station nearby. Room is for one person. You have to leave room key behind before you walk out hotel. Room door will close itself. It will slam itself. So it may wake you or ur neighbour up. A typical old hotel. when I move around, I will make noise, whenever I step on the floor, wood floor sound. I also don't want to disturb my neighbour so I can't do much in the room."

"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily. Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
