I wasn’t aware of breakfast. I was in the first room for an hour bc the tv wasn’t working. 2nd room was good until I seen roaches early in the morning and tried to use a coffee mug for my drug and I was rinsing it out and if just broke in my hand. I did tell them when I checked out.

The biggest issue with this Clarion property is that for $230 a night the place really needs to do a major renovation. Carpets coming up, sad vacant convenience store and extinct restaurant, truly doesn’t look like it’s been updated since the 80s. Ghastly lighting in the room, seriously there was a hole in the ceiling above a shelf/minifridge area where this guest observed the wiring etc. No continental breakfast, person at desk didn’t ask about our impressions of our stay. Can’t even imagine what the gym and pool were like. Stay somewhere else!

It was the less expensive in the area

Comfortable bed, decent water pressure & hot water. Saved on house keeping as it was non-existent. Property overall needs a lot of TLC, a lot of broken windows and some rooms look like they've been abandoned. Quiet and relatively cheap. Normally stay elsewhere, but they all wanted $1000+ for the week, this was just over $500 and not a roach coach.

Looks like they are ready to shut down this hotel. Looks abandoned and is not updated. That said, my room was comfortable and relatively quiet, after I requested a switch from a first floor room with a broken window lock to a second floor room. I was concerned with exterior and interior doors that were propped open despite signage that they should remain locked at all times. The fire/smke detector in my room did not look operational (there was no light indicating it was working).

The hotel appears to need a makeover. The rugs are old and not smooth. They had dehumidifiers running all over the lobby. Doors open. Our room was clean but the toilet seat was loose and the shower was slippery. The bottom of the seemed wore down. To the staff credit they kept the hotel as clean as they could consisting the condition of the hotel.

Came in to state to make funeral arrangements unexpectedly, check in staff was kind and sweet & he was very helpful. Upon checkout the staff was rude and snappy and didn’t want to give me back my deposit because I used a single towel to wipe iced coffee up. Walked from car to building and found empty beer bottles and a needle next to the side entrance door publicly used by families to enter the main hallway to access the rooms.

This hotel was in a great location. However, the hotel itself was dirty and very run down. There are many windows have cracked glass. The room was not well cleaned prior to our arrival. There was half used, opened soap in the bathroom, the shower was dirty. The air conditioner also was sub par. We had it set as low as we could and it just wouldn’t stay cool.

The staff is EXTREMELY rude!! I’ve been here several times out of convenience and they are the rudest staff that I’ve ever came across. I accidentally left my laptop in the room and they refused to give it back to me which is when I called the cops. They have HORRIBLE customer service. Other than that they have a very clean hotel.

This place is run down. Needs to be updated. Large floor air conditioners are located around lobby. Table in front of where you check in. Not sure what that is about. The hallways are scary. Old wrinkled carpet in hotel. The room was clean and I was thankful. Front desk people were polite. At first I wasn’t sure it they worked there. Maybe they should wear hotel shirts or some type of professional clothing. But, they did check us in quickly. Coffee machine in room without cups and a customer was checking out and told front desk about that but employee didn’t seem to care. Parking lot needs to be fixed. Orange cones around I guess to protect you from falling in holes. Very sketchy hotel. Didn’t feel safe. Definitely wouldn’t stay there again.

Needs serious renovation

I would have given this hotel 1 star it got an extra star because the room A/C was great. The lobby had no a/c on a 100 degree day. My room had no tv remote I had to get one from the front desk. The room phone didn’t work. The shower leaked from above. There were multiple people hanging out of their nonsmoking rooms, smoking so the whole place reeked of cigarettes. The whole hotel needs to be renovated.

The staff was very nice but the room was just okay. We had to change rooms. The room had no heat. The phones did not work. water leak under sink. no fridge or microwave.
