「It is a comfort hotel with free parking. Nearby a out-door garden outlet is great.」

「Great prpperty with character. My room 14 was very nice and spacious but the bed does need some leveling. Because of the floor the head is a couple of inches higher than the feet. A couple of russian novels on the foot pegs to level the bed!」

Breakfast was tasty but a bit on the cold side. Definately recommend the hotel to all my friends and will visit again when in the area 」

「Pleasant hotel with decent public areas. Food good in restaurant but not able to sample breakfast as this was too late for business guests. Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day. Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. Good value for the room chosen and overall a good experience.」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」
