I booked a pet friendly room, drove all the way there, 100 miles, only to find out that cats aren’t pets. Wasn’t allowed to rent a room unless I left them in the car. So to say I was disappointed, is an understatement.

As always, my stay was fantastic! The staff at this hotel are tops, imo. Keep in mind, fellow travelers, this is a fully restored historic hotel and the water in the showers and/or sinks may at times run very hot or very cold but it certainly doesn’t detract from the charm.
