“Our cottage was exactly as pictured and described. Our hostess left really good instructions and made sure we felt welcome with a personal note. The property location is absolutely perfect, close to restaurants, stores, and many shops; all within walking distance. It is a great hub for seeing the Moors, the Dales, and the Lake District. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. ”

“The cottage was lovely, very cosy and inviting. We spent a week exploring the area and enjoying the local walks. Thornton-le-Dale, Pickering and Helmsley were all interesting places to spend some time in. All in all we had a lovely peaceful week's stay.”

“The cottage was well set up with lots of internal space for our trip. The bedrooms we large and along with the bathrooms they made out stay so much nicer. It was a shame the log burner sting was broken and therefore did not really work, on Host and Stay website it also said we had a washer - yet there was not. Would I stay again? No - as there was no WiFi (which for me is essential), no washing machine, a little care and attention on their log burner would make so much difference. ”
