Weekend at pine island

House was perfect for what we needed, if we were home we spent all of our time on back porch overlooking canal. House was well equipped and comfortable.Saw manatees and dolphins in the canals!

Waterfront beauty

The home was perfectly situated to see the sun rise AND sunset from its expansive decks overlooking the waterways. Well appointed and very clean. Check-in and check-out couldnt have been easier - thank you Cynthia.

Home on a canal

This home was immaculate upon our arrival and everything was comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with the tools needed to make a meal. My husband was able to fish in the afternoons from the dock. We would 100% stay here again. dock.

Paradise Found

We stayed after Christmas at Lavender Life in Saint James City. We loved this area. Not your typical strip mall Florida. It is a beautiful island with tons of restaurant and bar options, but no chain restaurants. There isn’t even a traffic light on the island. We loved getting in the provided kayaks and exploring the mangrove trails, hidden lagoons and wildlife. The fishing gear for guests was a big plus. I even caught a few small fish that were hanging around the fish light. We traveled for the first time with our infant. Having a porta crib was helpful for us. The house is brand new and had everything that we needed. They provided spices and grilling supplies as well as coffee, tea, toiletries, laundry and dishwasher pods. This was the relaxing getaway we needed. We plan to come back with our boat to take advantage of the dock and explore Pine Island Sound and the Gulf.
