Lill and Jon are perfect hosts available to answer your questions as well as allowing your privacy. May is a beautiful time to visit with everything in bloom both on the property and surrounding countryside. We stayed four nights as a much needed getaway and would definitely return.”

“We had a very nice stay at this property. It was very clean, very convenient location to Santander area, Pagonda, Train station , and much more. Amazing Diner right down the road. “The kitchen is well-provisioned, with a drip coffee maker and a pod system. The host even supplied multiple coffee pods. The living/dining area has plenty of comfortable seating, and the large-screen TV and internet work just fine. There is a welcome binder that explains how to get to the clothes washer and dryer in the basement. Plenty of restaurant choices within 1 and 2 miles. I look forward to return!”

“Loved the welcome goodies. Extremely clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Owners were absolutely fantastic, desiring to help make our stay perfectly comfortable, including with their friendliness. Julie even same day shipped us an iron and ironing mat! I enjoyed playing Jim Croche's records in the living room while visiting with family. We used all appliances in the kitchen without a problem. The ONLY downside was how firm the mattress was. Regardless, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Highly……

“We have never stayed anywhere but a hotel, but on this trip we wanted a better space for our family to relax in. We will never go to a hotel again. The owner has put a lot of thought into this rental- from snacks and pantry items, and board games and books, to decorative charm, and functional spaces. WiFi, tv, a porch to enjoy the outside, friendly communication before and during the stay- we felt like old friends. I really loved the peace of mind of having one less thing to worry about on……

“This place is a gem. Stylish and upscale, this has been our favorite VRBO location. The apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable. The modern boho vibe was delightful. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The host even gave us snacks, breakfast and plenty of coffee, tea and bottled water. Overall, this is a sweet spot. If you’re staying in Reading, this is the place to stay.”

“This place is a wonderfully charming old colonial spot near Philadelphia. It’s a lovely tribute to a musician we all know well, Jim Croce. The place is filled with tender memories of his all too short life, but without the slightest sadness. It’s a great spot for a couple to reconnect and reflect. We were absolutely charmed. “We liked both the location and the property! House was easy to locate, with good off-street parking. Easy access to nearby stores and restaurants. House has roomy bedrooms, kitchen, living room. Kitchen was well supplied (coffee/tea/dishwasher soap, napkins) as was the washer/dryer). Would add some plastic wrap and silver foil and better ice containers. Porch was a delight for evenings on a hot day! As seniors, we'd like to have grab bars in the tub/shower. Also suggest transition to LED lights……

“Franklin the owner was very kind and understanding. Unfortunately, the building is in a state of disrepair, there appeared to be an active leak in the ceiling and I could only bring myself to stay one night, despite having booked a week-long stay. I had to scramble for another place. (very stressful with kids) because I woke up after the first night with bits of the ceiling material stuck to my forearm. The building is VERY old so I was concerned given the age of the building that the materials……

“We decided to book this as our children had a basketball tournament at Spookynook. We had a total of 15 people staying Friday -Sunday and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. Plenty of room and the amenities were top-notch. The boys appreciated being able to use the hot tub after a day of playing several games. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.”
