"This feels like a country spa hotel, but is within the beautiful City of Bath. It's an amazing place for a lovely relaxing break. I didn't try the smart dining room, but the casual bar and restaurant was perfect and the food was good. Loved the art and this really feels like a family run hotel. Room was gorgeous and I had lovely views across the beautifully kept gardens, which were lovely to explore. There was a Wedding reception in the gardens whilst I was there, and couldn't have been a more picturesque venue. Would definitely recommend for someone who wants a relaxing, quiet break with access to a historic city. I will go back."

"Nice central place to stay, on bus root to Bath, Plenty of parking, bathroom had no blind, needed one really, breakfast was nice but on a budget, eg no toast, very small cup coffee, yogurt served in very small pot, no butter for croissant, small cooked breakfast, staff all friendly"

"The pub wasn’t busy when I stayed but the landlord was very welcoming and friendly . All food Is homemade and when I was there the landlord was the chef ! …. I will certainly be back ….. they obviously care about their customers ."
