"There was plenty of rooms and plenty of bathrooms. The property itself wasn’t as clean as it could be. There were some cobwebs up in the corners and the windows weren’t clean. The outside wasn’t well maintained. There was some lights that didn’t have bulbs in them. The toilet tissue holders in the bathroom were broke. One of the windows was broke as far as the mechanism to open and close it. But overall, it was a pretty great place."

"Jill our hostess was amazing, always helpful and gave hreat suggestions! The 1800's cabin looked like we had stepped back in time but the inside had all the amenities...We spent mornings on the front porch with coffee and watching all the birds. Durango was 10 min away... Can't wait to stay again... this time we will plan a fall visit."

"The pictures of the property are a bit deceptive as it sits facing SH550 which is a fairly busy hwy making it impossible to enjoy the front view from the front deck. The property itself is beautiful - the water features spectacular. The house was fabulous. The road noise was just a very large negative to us - I think the property should be less expensive to compensate for that or it should have been made known that it was an issue so we would not have been surprised and disappointed. The hosts were great and super accommodating. The house was very well supplied."

"Beautiful place. Very roomy and comfortable. The upstairs rooms had heaters that came on at times making it too warm, as it was June, and we couldn’t find a control for them. We let the owner know. The river was beautiful and we really enjoyed it. The hot tub , ping pong, and horse shoes were great too. Overall a great time and I’d recommend it to others."

"We had an amazing stay! There were 11 adults and 17 kiddos and it was great! Each family had their own room and the kids slept with their parents or in the living room or futon room off the hot tub deck. We had a scavenger hunt throughout the house, r/c cars down the driveway, launching into the grass. We played flag football, soccer and set up an obstacle course on the lawn. And definitely used the hot tub! It was perfect for every age group. We did a lot of hiking and went river rafting. Our only complaint was we needed a few more days! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in Dalton Ranch.Very good service from VRC, check in easy, very responsive to questions and a maintenance issue.The general condition of the property is fair. The front walk is overgrown with plants on either side.The unbeatable views would be better if the the bushes on either side of the patio were cut back. They block the views to the right and left, many bees in the bush on the left.The grill is very old, rusted and sort of serviceable. Tried to grill three time, only able to light the grill twice. Need a new one.The armrest of one patio chair is unravelling, and all the cushions are very old and mostly ripped on at least one side. The sliding patio door needs care in opening and will not stay fully closed unless a stick is inserted in the track and against door.The layout of the townhouse is very good and the downstairs bedroom and bath are very nice.The property just need some TLC in order to receive five stars."
