“Great location in Florence for our overnight stay. Room was clean and in excellent condition. Parking available and their staff was friendly helpful. Inn is located at the top of a hill so there is a steep driveway to climb but it’s not as bad as it looks at first glance. Since the weather was warm, we wished for a/c or a fan. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this Inn.”

“When you enter the property, it feels like you're entering the Redwoods. Trees and glowing plants everywhere, very inviting. The rooms are named after places in Oregon. We stayed in 4 (Deschutes). We were able to park steps from the room. When we entered the room, it wasn't like any of the pics on the Expedia website, but that's ok. Rustic feel to the rooms. Yes, I said rooms. We thought it would be one space but it was actually 2 separate bedrooms with a door, much to our delight. The king……

“Great rooms in nicely maintained older building. Had biscuits and gravy for breakfast which were home made and delicious. It's always nice to take a step away from the corporate chains and find a hidden gem like this. Definitely would recommend.”

“I could hear the cars, driving by, on 101 (right next to the hotel). The room said no smoking but it smelt like cigarettes and the air seemed stale. I opened the windows but the cars were noisy and people were lighting fireworks. There was no AC. I could hear a family in another room, being really loud, early Friday morning. ’The hotel is worn down and it shows. The stairs leading up to the second floor were narrow. “While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's).
