The fully remodeled kitchen/dining area make for a wonderful entertaining space to host your friends and family. Head out on your private balcony to grab some Florida sunshine and fresh Gulf breezes. The master includes a cozy king bed and a conveniently attached bathroom. The bunks are perfect for kids and are tucked in the hallway with a half-bath in close proximity.

The sofa also pulls out into a queen-sized sofa sleeper!

Dozens of shops and restaurants, an event lawn with stage, convenient bike and board rentals, and hassle-free beach access make this the place to be: all of this and so much more on the corner of 30A and Hwy 393! An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

Great location

Very nicely decorated condo great for our family of four. Location was perfect and price was great! My kids loved being across the street from the beach while also having a pool to swim in. Condo is small but our young kiddos (5 & 9) fit perfectly in the bunk area at night and it the layout worked well for us. Management company sent multiple communications with information prior to arriving and while we were staying there. They were a little tough to get ahold of when we actually needed a response, but I know they were busy with all the spring break guests. Overall, I’d recommend for family or 4 or less.

Great condo! Location is perfect. Walking distance of everything. The condo was wonderful. Completely clean, adorably decorated and perfect location within Gulf Place. Close to the laundry room (which is free, by the way) and you can see the ocean from the balcony. Pool is heated - and heated well! No other pools in the area were heated like this one in December. There were even beach amenities here. A beach wagon, beach chairs, table and boogie boards. Awesome surprise! We cannot recommend this condo, and this area enough. Well done, owners! And well done Benchmark, the management and cleaning company. There’s literally not one thing we found that was not pristine clean, and I’m picky. We are moving our spring break vacation from another place to this one. Cannot wait to come back!

Upon arriving we were struck with just how pretty the place was on the inside. It was much bigger than we were expecting. The internet was spotty at best, but you don't really go to the beach for the internet. I would say it was less than a 4 minute walk to the beach. The only complaint I have would be about the company Vacayzen which works alongside the owners of the complex. DO NOT USE VACAYZEN for any of their services. I believe that company to be fraudulent. Overall, my stay was excellent!

Nice ...but...

This was my 2nd year staying in this condo. I love everything about the location and surrounding property including the beach access, the pools, the shops. But there are a few irritating things about the actual condo. 1st i could NOT get the wifi they list to work show up. The say to use the 5G...but all i could find is Cabana 206 2.4G. And i placed many calls to the property management and the maintenance guy couldn't fix it either. This meant i could not use netflix or hulu at all. I'm not there to watch TV but after a long day i just wanted to catch up on my shows! 2nd There is no full length mirror! These are cheap and super easy to install on a back of a door. Would be VERY nice to be able to see your entire self without standing on a chair in the bathroom. 3rd The master bedroom REALLY needs blackout curtains. There is a very bright light right outside the window that never goes off and makes the room look like the sun is out. Really messed up sleeping. I had to take a comforter and pin it up and around the window so i could sleep. A few cheap easy fixes would make this place amazing! I will definitely try and stay here next year despite these issues...but i really hope these few minor issues have been resolved.

Below Expectations

This was our 4th yr staying at Cabanas at Gulf Place. And by far the most disappointing. This unit is at best the bear minimum. Looked like what furniture was there may have come from a potters house.We didn't go to watch tv but you would think a tv under 32 in the main area is skimping as cheap as they are now. And there were no instructions on how to connect to the service. There were no dishcloth or potholder for handling hot pans. Also they need to clean the blades on the ceiling fan more than every couple years. A good 1/4 in or more of dust. The bracket on the door frame is missing a screw and probably could be compromised easily.

The unit was clean, & the bed was comfortable. It would be difficult for six people to stay in the room. But, it was great for the two of us for a weekend get away. The location was great.

Won't ever stay in this building again. What a disgrace!

This unit was not desirable in the least. Opened the door, hit with a very heavy musty smell. The mold around all the faucet handles was so disgusting. Water up above our ankles when showering. (maintenance did a repair after a complaint was made.) Sliding door out to the deck was like impossible to open, two hands and full body weight to open. Apparently been like this for a considerable time. The couch must be an original from the day the building opened. Kinda like sitting on the floor. We had to mandatorily leave due to the hurricane on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, due to Hurricane Michael coming upon us. We totally understand.... But at 0950 A.M. they locked out the elevator. Hence we had to carry all of our stuff down the stairs. NO warnings, no nothing from the building and or rental company. The hurricane didn't hit until Thursday. Been going to the area for over 30 years and this was by far the biggest disappointment I have ever had.

Let me start by saying that I was grateful to be able to find a place in the middle of June that would rent for only 3 nights, however this was my family’s worst stay on 30A. The room was dirty. Like dirty. My girls had to wear socks or their feet would be black in 5 Mins, my husband and I had to wear flip flops inside the whole time. The unit has a policy for each guest to wash and put away dishes, well you guessed it, we found food in several dishes. We just started washing everything before we used it. The patio furniture was covered in mold and mostly broken. I think there were two decent chairs. I did not call to report this, I just felt we didn’t have a lot of time, and I didn’t want to spend it on the phone. I don’t expect perfection, but when I spend over $900 for 3 nights in a one bedroom, it should at least be clean. Most of the issues with this unit could be fixed with a new cleaning staff. The area is really nice there, loved having the shopping and dining so close.

Only bare necessities

Pros: 1. Location. Very near the beach! View was great. 2. Upon entering the housekeeper did a really good job with the older condo unit. We appreciated that. Cons: 1. A/C was the biggest issue. I wound up getting sick from the cold air vents pouring down on us during the night. The mold and humidity weren't taken out if I put down the A/C; and too wet/damp with the moisture. Seal on door was poor; humidity couldn't stay out. 2.There were no coffee filters as stated. (brought coffee to make; had to go out every morning. 3. No pot holders; had to use a towel. 4. Bath towels needed to be bleached or new ones bought. Ugh. 5. Bed was hard; pillows were soft. Actually woke up with my ear aching from the hard bed. 6. Furniture was filthy! I sat on the edge of it. Couch pillows were stained from...?? Some kitchen chairs were starting to fall apart. 7. Canvas beach chairs were horrid to sit in. Bar under knee and at butt. Cheap. Used one for 5 min. All I could stand. -- Basically you pay for the location. Everything else was cheap, non-existent, or ready to be replaced. If we had ANY idea coming home would be the highlight of the week, we would have never come at all. I am still trying to understand how someone/a company has no conscience when they take your money for these kinds of places. The price did not reflect the rental at all. So sad...what a waste of time and money.

Paradise Found!

My daughter and I spent 4 nights and 5 days here the first week in April. Love the location with the beach just across the way and the food selection in this little area. We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Planning to return soon!

Cute and cozy. The apartment was well equipped with the essentials. Good location. I think it is too small for 6 and a little tight for 4.. Cons: The walls are thin and you could hear neighbors. Needs an update of the livingroom furniture. Overall a good stay.
