Overall Impressed
Some quick thoughts on the stay:
Positives:
- management company, Echelon, was tremendous and very professional
- house is absolutely gorgeous with high end finishes
- view is as described and you are able to see the sunset each evening
- very short walk to the beach, with access from the neighborhood and no public access - keeping crowds to a minimum
- location is ideal
Opportunities:
- although it is as described, the alarm is very intrusive as there is no way to enter the house without it blaring
- the bunk room is useless as you have to go through it to enter the house through the door with a code on it
- unlike many other homes we have rented, this one did not have a few basics like chairs to take to the beach, not enough extra blankets for around the house, etc.
- 2 beds are very high and difficult to enter even though they have one step stool for each bed
Overall, we really enjoyed the house and the location. I feel the price is right for what you get and expect the home has not been rented very often that, with a few adjustments, can help improve the experience. Just make sure you do not need the 5th bedroom or bring ear protection.
