Great house, broken hot tub

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a great fit for our large family, it was comfortable and had plenty of space. We were pretty disappointed that the hot tub never worked. We were staying during a cold weekend and were excited to be able to use the hot tub. Part of why we booked this house was knowing it had a hot tub. If it wasn’t going to work they should have disclosed that. Everything else was great.

Checkin was easy, location was perfect. Kitchen was stocked. You could walk to multiple places to eat/shop/gas station. Private boardwalk down to the beach.The bed linens for 3 beds were stained- one was crusted stained like it hadn’t been washed. New linens were delivered within an hour or so. The pool DOES NOT WORK. Has not worked since at least March 2025 when another review mentioned the same thing. I was told by someone from the property management company that the owner has been contacted multiple times about it with no response so apparently the owner doesn’t care. The listing is misleading on that alone. I contacted the property management company multiple times about the pool and kept being told “they’re trying to contact the owner” and “my complaint is being documented” and “we’ll give you a call back”. They never once called back. I never got any answers. I was sent a link to let them know how my stay went, and only then when I laid it all out was I “compensated” (within an hour or so of sending what I had to say, funny enough). We were compensated MAYBE 5% of what we paid in total.Metal table and chair on the main level deck are rusted and falling apart. The location was the best part about the house. The house was large enough to accommodate our large group. It’s the lack of care/communication over the pool issue that I had the biggest problem with. The pool not working should have been disclosed. We had a few small children that were looking forward to it.
