“Obvious that operators were not keeping the property up to scratch”

“Rooms had very little sound insulation, was woken up multiple times in the night with doors banging, someone in the interconnecting room switched the TV on ridiculously loud at 1am and then was woken in the morning by someone being sick multiple times in the neighbouring room. Won’t stay again..”

“Spacious comfortable clean bedroom & en-suite bathroom. Very helpful landlady, accommodating us arriving early and giving us early access to our room. Delicious breakfast - berries, yogurt, muesli and cooked breakfast of your choice. Cooked fresh and just the way we like it. Only downside is that you need to park in the nearby car park (not cheap & designed to catch you out) or on the street.”

“The building is very old. With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). The room was lovely but it was very hot as situated above the kitchen. The weather was forecasted to be 28/29 degrees and I had to ask for a fan. It was a struggle to sleep in such temperatures as the fan was noisy so had to be switched off. In the morning I was……

“Really lovely stay at the Bull. Friendly staff - great breakfast menu and beautifully decorated rooms. I was on the top floor - very quiet, super comfy bed and a really powerful hot shower. ”
