“Our room was very beautiful with a lovely view. The service was excellent. We had a great dinner at Charlie’s the first night and our server, Euan, was really great. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated. My husband forgot some important papers on the desk in our room, today, after checking out, and we are having problems connecting with the staff there. Nobody is answering the phone or returning our calls.”

“The rooms was spotless, its a very old building but modern and decorated beautifully, the bathroom was so clean and the shower was nice and powerful. The man was really friendly and the building its self is just amazing, all 5 of us (3 kids ) were impressed. The beds are the comfiest weve ever slept on. 100% would recommend this place . The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is friendly theres fields with cows surrounding it and friendly chickens running around. Nice stay if u love the……

“Really nice 3 star close to Lindisfarne. Perfect for judging the crossing times to the island and close enough by car to Berwick upon Tweed for a great choice of restaurants. Banburgh Castle is also close-by.”

“It was an amazing find, travelling South on a long journey from Stornoway to Keswick. I began to feel tired in the afternoon, so I stopped the car went onto Expedia and found this place. The price was very reasonable for August, and the hotel was lovely, a little off the beaten track, but there was a local shop 2 mins away. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I’m going to bookmark this one.”

“This was an ex hotel/pub which provides entry via a code system which requires you to be able to messsge etc beforehand. When finally you do get in you're presented with a mothballed bar and then have to find your way from there. Breakfast, which I avoided, was a selection of biscuits and chocolate bars on a tiny tray. I won't be back. If you're okay with this sort of approach you might be okay with it, but it could never be called good. Look around, there's other, better places out……
