“Before I came to Madeira, I was a little worried that maybe it would let me down. But when j arrived this island, the Sunshine the sea made me so happy! I like this hotel so much, peaceful and beautiful! from the hotel. You can see the sea! The beautiful view! And five star service! And the bar has performance on Thursday! It's really nice! And you can enjoy your breakfast and lunch near the sea! The design of hotel is perfect and there is also a nog beautiful swimming pool and gym! I like it!”

“The Reid is fabulous - it would get a five star except that the “shower” in our room was in an extremely slippery bathtub with no rubber mat. Almost fell several times. ”

“Calheta Beach Resort is a simple yet lovely beach property. Some reviews say ‘dated’, but I think that’s the charm of the place. Food was good, not great, but service was fantastic all across the board. Easy to get to and easy to take day trips to Porto Moniz and Funchal. I would recommend Calheta Beach. ”

“Wir haben den Urlaub in vollsten Zügen genießen können! Unter dem Hotel war eine Parkgarage, die wir kostenfrei nutzen konnten und auch sonst hatte das Hotel einige Aktivitäten zu bieten. Vor allem das Essen und der gute Service ist hervorgestochen. Es war wirklich sehr vielseitig, gesund und lecker zubereitet. Das Personal war stets höflich, merkte sich Kleinigkeiten bei Bestellungen und war stets für Empfehlungen ansprechbar. Definitiv empfehlenswert! ”

“This hotel met our needs - clean and pleasant rooms, good beds, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff. We were not pleased with the coffee service, nor did we find the lack of parking near by the hotel helpful. We were especially pleased with the assistance the front desk staff offered us around our very early departure and treansportation to the airport.”

“Komfortabelt og fint hotell. Utsikten er fin, og bakken fra havnivå og opp er ikke så ille. Veldig god og variert frokost. Nydelige rom og veldig komfortabel seng (de har en egen meny for puter). Deilig spaområde med basseng, boblebad og div badstuer. Trivelig barområde med flinke musikere på kveldstid. Det eneste som ikke var bra var pastaen vi bestilte som roomservice (smakløs og kjip). Totalinntrykket er imidlertid at dette er hotell vi vil tilbake til.”

“Un hôtel impeccable. Le personnel vraiment courtois et bienveillant. Les services sont incroyables, le buffet du matin offre une variété de choix. Avons adoré la terrasse du petit-déjeuner, les installations de la piscine et tourbillon sur le toit. La table du UVA vaut le détour, finesse de présentation et délicieux plats. Comme c’était notre anniversaire de mariage, on nous a offert un surclassement de chambre, un suite junior! Wow, avec mini bar garni et bouteille de vin. Un 5* que nous……

“Das Hotel ist an der Küste gelegen, so dass wir sowohl im Pool, als auch im Atlantik schwimmen konnten. Wir konnten alle Mahlzeiten im Freien genießen, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, abends gab es unterschiedliche Musikvorführungen, was sehr schön war”

“La chambre a une vue exceptionnelle sur la piscine et l’océan. Le lit est fait chaque jour mais pas d’aspirateur. Au bout d’une semaine, le sol n’est plus très propre. La baignoire présente des traces de rouillés et les flexibles de douche fuient de partout. Inacceptable pour un 4 étoiles.”
