It was a real pleasure to come back to this wonderful home after a long day filled with fantastic experiences. We are very thankful for having the opportunity to stay here. "Our room (Kaede room) was bigger than expected. Lovely 2 night stay in a quiet inn/ryokan style accomodation. Washer/dryer combo was awesome to have. The stairs to the 2nd level is very steep. Great to have a second toilet & sink upstairs.
Soaking in the open air bath after a long day out was wonderful.
We never used the buses but they were everywhere, usually crowded. We used the local trains and walked. There are convenience stores a couple of blocks away. "

"This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a great experience in Kyoto. "
