“The view was wonderful. We had an oceanfront facing room. My favorite thing about staying on the ocean is the ability to hear the waves, but this wasn't possible. The window did not open, so the only option was to prop the door open to the balcony. There is no screen, so I left it open for a short time and unfortunately had bugs galore. We felt like we were splurging because the price of the room is very high. But we were disappointed that the pool is at another location and passes were $35. We……

“The bar outside still closed from last years stay as it was this past weekend :( There was no hair blower in our room 109 but there was one in my sons room, 310. The breakfast area was nice and coffee too. Friendly reception and good welcoming from the desk employees. The place needs more parking area for people coming back from a later diner time around 8:30 pm.”

“My favorite place I stayed for my entire trip around Maine. I didn't want to leave. My bedroom was fantastic and had a wonderful porch with a table and chairs I could sit out on in the morning, afternoon, and nighttime. The backyard was beautiful! My bed was very comfy as well. Shower pressure was fantastic! It was in a great location and I pretty much could walk to everything. I will be staying here again as soon as I am back in Maine.”

“York , Maine is lovely. Our room at he STAGE NECK INN did not have hot water in our shower and there was nothing bathtub as pictured.When we told the front desk we were told they were aware and there was nothing they could do until after our stay was over. They said they could not upgrade our room because we booked through Expedia. The view of York Beach was lovely from our Balcony. The Spa is closed on Monday and Tuesday, our stay was Sunday- Tuesday. I am very disappointed with the management……

“Prior to booking, I researched the property and was impressed with the photo showing a full kitchen with large refrigerator, stove, toaster, etc. No such kitchen in our room-dorm refrigerator, no toaster, etc. Seemed like a bait and switch”
