"Would have been helpful to know at the time of booking that needed separate bus ticket to go to the location. Fortunately the property reached out so we knew this ahead of our trip. Unfortunately, we didn’t know the accommodation also required you to bring your own sleeping bag. Luckily the facility had linen to “rent” but of course with everything in Iceland it came with a hefty price."

"Beautiful property near waterfalls, root cellars and the town of Vik. Close to multiple black sand beaches. Restaurant and bar onsite seems good, no gluten free options, so bring your own food."

"The location is stunning, and especially wonderful if you are exploring the Iceland southern coast. There is no staff on site. The staff were not especially responsive. We stayed at multiple other hotels that contacted us as our check in approached (a day or two in advance). We had read that the staff at Lambafell were hard to reach, so I messaged the day before, and got no response. And then the morning of our check in, with no response. We finally received a message with check in instructions a few hours before check in. It would be much appreciated if the staff were more responsive to messages. The room was small but clean and charming. The breakfast was solid."

"Beautiful suite located just mins from downtown Vik and Reynisfjara Beach. We were able to enjoy the beach with virtually no one there in the late evenings with late daylight. BBS was a perfect stay and resting spot as our home while we hopped along the coast. Truly stunning, clean, and updated."

"We arrived after 22:00 so used the self check in which worked fine. The room was basic, but a bit warm. The bathroom had no place to store toiletries, it was large enough so maybe a table could be added. The breakfast was typical, and I enjoyed the fresh grainy bread. The two pillows were lovely, so thank you for that nice touch."
