「Room clean and spacious staff very friendly」

「The room was clean but a bit dated and the shower cubicle was much to small, the staff were brilliant and the food was the best we have had in a hotel and the portions were very big. Aylsham itself is a lovely village.」

「Scarborough Hill Country Inn is a a gem! We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water. 「Overall the stay was good, with just a couple of points that let it down. Breakfast on the first morning was quite disappointing in that we sat down and it was 35 minutes before our order was taken and another 20 minutes before it arrived. There were a number of vases of wilted/dead flowers around the rooms. Silly point, but the toilet roll holder was impossible to use without the roll coming off and shooting across the floor. 「I booked a room but all night there were banging doors outside my room as the main corridor door was right next to my room. I was also near the hotel entrance where there was a lot of banging. So not a great night sleep!」

「The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.」

「Easy check in taken to room which had everything you need very clean, tidy and modern. By the looks of the room it had recently been decorated and perhaps updated been done very nicely. All staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a meal early evening, four of us, different choices and we all enjoyed our meals. Breakfast in the morning was good with a nice choice. Nice garden area with lots of space and tables overlooking the broads, ideal location. Would definitely recommend staying here.」
