“Five stars is not enough! Location location location!!!! Essentially a private white sand beach, crystal clear water, beautiful flora and fauna! Scenery was straight out of a movie. The caretakers were amazing. We came back from a long day on Isla Mujeres and they had picked coconuts from the trees on the property, husked them so that the fresh coconut water could be drunk! Bonus they were in the refrigerator so ohhhhhh soooooo cold and refreshing! Truly next level care for our party of 12!……

“Beautiful home! The house is cozy and it is nice and cool in all rooms, even common areas which is not typical for homes by the beach. Ivonne was a great host and very responsive. She even met us at the house to show us around. The home was very clean and even had cleaning service daily. We were able to pre-order groceries which was nice to not have to do when we arrived. The only downfall, but not the biggest deal for us was the sargasso. But it’s everywhere in playa so not much anyone can do……

“We had a wonderful stay at Villa Shalimar! The space is exactly as the description and pictures show. Three nicely equipped villa's around a giant, multi level pool with a swim up bar. Plenty of shallow space safe for younger children (the youngest member of our party was 3) and deeper areas for the stronger swimmers. Check in was breeze, despite some of our party arriving much later than expected. Richard (concierge) came back to check the entire group in at 11 pm when the last of our group……

“This house is fabulous! It is large and spacious. The kitchen is well-appointed and had literally everything we needed for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids, including more than enough plates, cups, wine glasses and silverware. The location is amazing! The pool overlooks the beach and ocean, which is right off the pool deck. The main downtown area is a short 10 minute walk away through a quiet and secure neighborhood. “We had a wonderful stay in paradise. The Pictures don’t give it justice. From Stafan, to his staff we felt like kings and queens. I definitely recommend hiring chef Ramiro, he is amazing! We felt very safe and comfortable in the community. Lots do there from shopping, tons of restaurants and you can swim with dolphins! I highly recommend getting a golf cart or two depending on how many in your group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!”
