Somers Point Bar Hotel

"Will you stay here each year for a volleyball tournament and always have to wait on a huge line for check-in. There is a kiosk however they tend not to work. Why not hire someone to stand out by the kiosk to assist the guests and add additional stuff on at the front desk for Large events. Also the sandwich shop/ice cream and coffee place always has a huge line. Why not add another one down by the sport conference area , seems like a Miss opportunity."

" Room was clean hallways smelt like a cigarette lounge, elevators were so packed . And not emough staff working you would think on a Saturday at 2pm they would have more then 3 people working the front desk for check in . In Atlantic city. This will be my 2nd and last time i stay here. Ill pay more and stay somewhere else. "

"The room itself was nice; however, shortly after checking in, I pulled back the covers to spray the bed and immediately noticed stains on the sheets. This was extremely concerning and left me questioning whether the bedding had actually been changed after the previous guests checked out. I immediately contacted the front desk to report the issue and was told that housekeeping had already left for the day. The representative explained that if we had already been staying in the room, the sheets would not be able to be changed. The problem with that response was that we had literally just checked into the room moments earlier. At that point, I asked if our room could simply be changed. I was then told the hotel was fully booked and there were no available rooms. After realizing we had just arrived a request was made to change the sheets. I went downstairs to speak directly with a manager. Ironically, the manager was standing nearby the entire time, yet the front desk employee initially attempted to continue handling the matter herself before he stepped forward to address my concerns. I explained to the manager that stained sheets are unacceptable. In today’s environment, where there is heightened awareness regarding cleanliness, sanitation, and communicable illnesses, this is not something guests should have to encounter. The hotel itself appears older and dated, which makes attention to cleanliness and maintenance even more important."

"Very clean and comfortable. Nice to have water and coffee in room. Gym was also nice."

"The rooms definitely need to be upgraded and need a deep clean. We found pack of cigarettes and vape in our room"

"Staff was friendly the bathroom could use a little bit of an update but overall it was a nice property"

"Staff not very helpful when you asked for assistance. Absolutely NO view from the room. Windows are frosted over room was very dark, poor lighting. Room was clean. A lot of walking to get to the elevator."
