10/10 Excellent

"Checked in just before 11pm, guy on reception was very helpful and found us a room on the 4th floor near the lifts. The room was large with very comfortable bed, the bathroom had a large walk in shower with grab rail, full toiletries, and was very clean. Everything we needed after a long day and flight, including bottles of water, and all just a short walk from Arrivals."

"Staff were very friendly. The location was ideal for the pier, town and theatres. We upgraded to a sea view room on arrival. Lovely view but the room could have been cleaner, the shower needed a good scrub to remove the black mould around the door frame. The windows looked out onto ledges that needed cleaning and the metal railings needed painting. The coffee machine was a good touch but needed a clean after each guest."

"Check in area was deafening with what seemed like 2 conferences being checked in in the foyer area. Parking away from check in and needing to walk there is odd and not well described. The room stank. Of vomit in the bedroom and some other vile smell in the bathroom. The sofa bed was astonishingly uncomfortable and very loud if you moved. Breakfast was mediocre."

"The hotel appeared clean but there was a musty smell throughout the hotel that smelled like they are putting febreeze over it so it was kind of a weird smell. Our air conditioning didn't work and we called the front desk 3 times and it was never fixed, nobody contacted us about it, and our windows wouldn't open. It was hot and musty and we all slept with no covers on because it was so hot in our room. The pillows and bedding felt cheap. The pillows were flat and hard, no fluff left in them at all. However, the plus side of things, it has a bar and you can get room service, there was a nice restaurant inside, and it was almost right next door to the mall which is very walkable so there are a number of food and beverage options. The staff was nice and very helpful. The only issue with the staff was that nothing was done about the ac situation."
