South Padre Island Hotel with Pool

"Good: beautiful property, clean, friendly and helpful staff, and Tony the bartender was great. Bad: the food truck should offer more than Mexican food, such as burgers and fries. The property seemed to have run out of many supplies, such as ice cream at the restaurant to make ice cream drinks, the pizza maker was not working at the marketplace, and there was no ink in the office printer to print guest bill summaries. The towel return was stuffed full. There needs to be better on site, hands-on management for these kinds of little things. We asked for our sink faucet handle to be repaired, but even after the repair it’s still leaked around the rim across the counter top. Again, better on-site management for this beautiful property. "

"The Front Desk Staff were PHENOMENAL! I would Heap Praise upon Josh and Priscilla who were so courteous and helpful during our stay! The Room was spacious and clean! The Grill in the Hotel was very good, Pool was very nice and we enjoyed ourselves too our limit!"

"Holiday Inn Express was great! Our room was large and spacious, the check in staff was helpful and friendly, Breakfast was great and tasty. The location of the hotel was in close proximity to the beach. It was a short and pleasant walk to the beach. My wife and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"Very good price but we struggled getting to the beach. Pool was over crowded and people had all kinds of drinks there yelling and drunk.. didn’t use it. The room was very comfortable and well maintained for the price "
