「Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)」

「Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Southampton. Close to cruise terminal. Extremely friendly staff, especially Bridget, the hotel manager, and Jack! Great history with this building regarding the Titanic. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Southampton!」

「Great one night stay after attending a wedding in the area. Well appointed room, in adjoining stable block, with bottled water, comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast. We were also given a courtesy call on the day to check we were still coming as we were at the wedding. Highly recommend.」

「Such a cool place to stay with history tied to the Titanic. It was close to the port that our cruise left from. The pub below and the surrounding restaurants were all great as well! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. 」

「Superb pub and BnB just outside of Ventnor. The staff were awesome, and the bed and room were really comfortable. The whole trio of Islander pubs / BnB’s on the Isle of Wight, which includes the Buddle, are a real treat to stay in, all of them are superbly well done and extremely welcoming. 」

「If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. 「Check in was friendly and welcoming. Ate a snack in bar,service was quick and food was excellent. Bathroom had bio friendly soaps,which considering the seaside location, I thought was a good idea.overall a good experience.」

「We had a lovely 3 night stay nice small clean room big enough for us though. Lovely breakfast, ate in the dining room twice great food hard working staff would definitely stay again 」

「The owners have clearly made a great effort to make sure this old building gives you a welcoming environment. The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi excellent and secure and the room servicing great. The whole environment was well looked after. If you thought that was good? - I can’t speak highly enough of the staff; reception, bar, breakfast & dinner - all different people but all gave excellent service. I have no problem in returning next time we are on the Island.」

「Polite and helpful customer service. Clean and cozy. The breakfast is very good especially the fish. The only draw back is the WiFi - as it is free, its bandwidth is limited, so a bit slow and unstable.」
