"We had a lovely clean room with a great view over the town. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Tea and Nespresso machine in the room all worked well. It is a good walk into town if a bit downhill on the way there and obviously up on the way back (hence the good view. Parking was ample if a bit tight on space, probably best not to arrive during peak bar hours. There was a small problem with our breakfast order but this was remedied when it came to light and the staff were very apologetic. Would deffinitly stay there again."

"The manager and staff at this hotel go above and beyond. My wife is disabled and travelling can be a challenge. The folks here just go out of the way to make things as easy as they can. The accessible room is large and the bathroom with its roll in shower and shower stool is well designed and functional. Top marks to all the staff."

"Great location, easy access to lovely walks on the common and just across from the Pantiles with cafes, shops etc. Cottage well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Great that there was milk, bread , eggs, pasta and sauce there on arrival, a very nice thought. A lovely place to spend the week."
