“A Completely Unacceptable Experience — Serious Security Concerns and Disrespectful Staff I rarely write reviews this strongly, but our experience at Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa was unacceptable and absolutely not what anyone should expect from a luxury resort associated with Hyatt. “Great location, you can visit the shopping center nearby and some food restaurant you can choose. ”

“Keith, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. Awesome view of the Caribbean sea, very quiet at night except for occasional dog barks. The rooms are somewhat dated but very functional and very clean. Lots of birds in the garden, be sure to walk around. Overall an excellent stay.”

“It is on the beach. Some of the staff was helpful, others weren’t.Bathroom had black mold around it.Cleaning service was extremely poor.I left a water glass on the night table the night I arrived and it was still there when I checked out 4 days later. I went to restaurant and apparently they were delayed in opening and staff was just walking past without asking if I need any assistance.Nice hotel overall but staff needs more training overall.”

The resort is below standards, has recently been bought out by Royalton and will be shutting down for demolishing starting August. Old and broken fixtures throughout, indicating a severe lack of maintenance. Walls were moldy and demonstrated water damage. The resort was filthy. The customer service was poor, with unprofessional staff who did not seem to care about guest satisfaction. The food was disgusting and barely……
