Adorable Studio with Gulf Views and Easy Access to the Beach!

Please be aware that Hurricane Helene 2024 left some scars. Both of our units are upstairs and were spared, with no damage at all. However, there was flood damage to the downstairs units. They are now fully mold remediated (even the upstairs was treated as an extra precaution). The whole courtyard, the pool, washers, dryers all have been replaced. The downstairs units will be eventually restored, doors, drywall, furniture etc. It is insurance related and of course manpower related. Just permitting will take at least 2 months from now. If we know more, we will post it. The company we work with will reduce the impact to a minimum, but we simply cannot exclude possible build activity 100%.

Recent updated for 2021, new A/C , updated kitchen with more storage and a new bigger refrigerator with separate freezer compartment New Floors in 2022

Unit 213 is decorated in a fun, beachy theme with all the comforts of home! After a fun day at the beach, grab a drink, sit on the deck and enjoy views of the sun setting over the Gulf!

This studio is perfect for a couple or a young family. The unit is spacious enough for a long-term stay. The floor plan allows for a bed, desk, flat-screen TV, dining table and comfortable chair all with distance to the kitchen and a nice-sized bathroom with hairdryer and plush towels. With the layout as a T configuration, you will still be in the midst of the action without feeling too confined.

Very comfortable

Great Place

Easy check in process, room was clean & everything you need. The beach was a block away. They have chairs, umbrella, big cooler, towels& hats!! Close to restaurants, activities & the trolley. I’ll be back!!

Weekend Getaway

My boyfriend and I spent a quick weekend away to the other coast of Florida. We chose to stay here due to the location and accessibility to the beach and local restaurants. We even drove to down town St. Petersburg one night for sunset and the drive was less than 30 minutes! This was the perfect place for the two of us and had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful weekend!

Beach getaway

This was a perfect place for our beach getaway. The unit was small but very clean and comfortable. It was right across the street from the beach with easy beach access. The swimming pool was clean and a nice reprieve in the afternoon when we needed to get out of the sun. We went to the store for a few groceries the first day and then never used our car again because there are so many good restaurants within walking distance. Had a great time!

Great Location and Size

We were in town for a wedding and just need a nice place to stay on Treasure Island. This unit was the perfect size and location. We didn't have trouble parking and we could walk to a lot of restaurants. My only negatives is it could use better lighting, a clock and full length mirror. We loved everything it had for beach use.

Fun Beach Vacay

Had a great time! Perfect size for two adults. The check-in process was smooth and the property manager was helpful and very responsive. The unit was clean and comfortable. I loved that we were so close to the beach. Would definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend this property! We didn’t bring our own vehicle, nor did we rent one and that worked out just fine. We were able to catch rides on the trolley to go down to John’s Pass. We also spent a lot of time down at the Conch (definitely recommend!). Only thing is - the Citgo gas station that’s within comfortable walking distance was closed, so we used Uber to order some bags of ice. There’s a Winn Dixie and CVS nearby, but I wouldn’t want to walk there and back in the Florida sun. So, if you visit without a vehicle, plan to catch an Uber or use public transit to stock up on groceries and ice. Loved that the property includes umbrellas, a cooler, chairs, hat, and a bodyboard. Great time and great host!

Great location and good value

Burkhard was very easy to communicate with and very prompt, A+! :) This location is a 2 minute walk to the beach. The area is very nice. Nice to have a kitchenette. The room is small, but that is indicated in the information. But, has everything you need for a beach stay. Bed very comfortable. Pool and courtyard in the complex. Nice parking for the building. Very good value for the price! Thanks again Burkhard!!

Royal Orleans is Nice

The superhost was very responsive, and the studio apartment was adequate for a quick weekend visit to the Gulf beaches. The location is great for easy beach access and a short walk to the excellent Conch Republic restaurant. However, the description of where the actual apartment is located within the Royal Orleans complex could be better, as we searched around for easily 15 minutes in the 90-degree heat. We never could get hot water from the shower which made my wife furious after a sunscreen covered, salt water in the hair day. We have stayed at this complex before but in a bigger unit and would return.

Not bad

Overall the place wasn’t bad but the cleaning personnel doesn’t do their job well. The sheets were stained the toiletries were lacking and it’s nice that they have beach equipment but the stuff could really use some updating as the chairs do not look safe to sit on so we ended up not using them to avoid having to pay for them if they did break. The place has potential but could definitely use some TLC and updating.

Even though the overall property is being renovated due to the hurricanes, the unit I rented was ready and good to go. I found the room clean, the host accommodating and the experience a positive one overall. I would stay here and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice/affordable place within walking distance of food and the beach...

Not the best stay

The construction going on was not told to us before booking the whole bottom floor was messed up do to hurricane all day was a lot of noise couldn’t access pool was not relaxing ! The public beach access was not available due to nasty standing water had to Trespass on adjoining property to access beach ( we were approached by owners about trespassing) we had no choice did not make the experience enjoyable. Beach was unkempt. The room was fine just needs updated stuff like rugs, shower head ect. The room did supply chairs and umbrella which was nice ! I wish we had been told about construction going on not owners fault but it woujd have been nice to know we came for our vacation to relax that didn’t happen ! We have stayed here before was a nice place and experience the beach was beautiful 5 yrs ago a lot has changed ! Still has the most awesome sunsets ever !!!

What a great little get away place! The pool was splendid! The host was responsive. We love Royal Orleans as a whole. They are still trying to get the downstairs condos back together from the hurricanes, but that did not detract from our stay. Just a few small notes, the hot water is luke-warm at best and the bed is hard (but I just dont like memory foam). Other than that, it was awesome!
