「The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is clean and very nice. We had difficulties with the pool. My eyes were watering from just watching my son play in the pool. My son was coughing pretty hard while in the pool. We ended up having to leave the pool a little earlier than we wanted to. That was an issue for 2 out of the 4 that we stayed. 」

「I booked this overnight in Edmonton (travelling through from YYC to northern AB). Expedia reviews gave it an 8.4 rating, and the price was lower than normal, so I booked it. My husband (when adding the hotel into Maps for the drive) was startled: "You booked us in a 2 Star??!!" Me: I did??!! *looks at property again on Expedia* "Shoot! I guess I did!!" Now we're both a little worried. Well, let me tell you - this hotel is a little gem if you're just passing through and need a place to sleep....

「This property is super dated, to the point it just doesn’t « feel » clean. Bed was extremely firm with thick, unyielding pillows. Everything just felt cheap - left only one regular coffee pod (in a room for four), cheap toiletries that appeared to have already been used by someone else. I generally don’t bother sharing these types of reviews, but this was notably bad enough that I’m taking the time to warn others.」

「House was depicted fairly accurately in pictures and listing, kitchen amenities were ample and perfect for our meal preparation needs, and although we had no little children there was appropriate furniture and amenities available and a toy play room full of various age toys. . We enjoyed both the fire pit amd hot tub and spent a fair bit of house time enjoying the large back deck. Edmonton was in the middle of a heat wave (30) which we managed through with a couple of additional large fans and...

「Everything was perfect, including host Jean. I’ve stayed all over western Canada in rentals and Jean’s was my favourite by far. The part that mattered most to me was the quiet. Staying in a basement suite is usually a noisy situation. I hardly heard a sound. Would definitely stay here again」
