NO PRIVACY

The owners spoke zero English and did not understand us even with using our interpreter app. They made us buy passes to the hiking trails in the forest even though we told them we had no time to do that. The room was extremely hot so we left the patio door open with a chair in front of it overnight. Sometime in the middle of the night the owner walked in without knocking and closed the door. There is only a slider curtain to the unit that cannot be locked. The only keys given was to the house itself where the owners live downstairs and to one bedroom. The description told us the unit is 2 bedroom and the owners refused to give us the keys to the second bedroom stating we didn't need it. We wanted to use it!! The first night at 9:00 pm the owner used the doorbell to the unit to and requested we turn off the kitchen light. Very unhappy with our stay here.

Schmiedefeld 2025

Die Unterkunft ist super, 1 Wohnzimmer und 2 Schlafzimmer, Dusche, Mini-Küche mit allem drum und dran. Die Wirtsleute sind einfach SPITZE. Netter Kontakt, hilfreiche Tips - einfach SUPER. Sind wir bei den Superlativen, darf das Frühstück nicht fehlen: ABSOLUTE EMPFEHLUNG. Sicher gibt's hier auch wieder Leute, die Zuhause Knäckebrot essen oder Lachs mit Sekt. Aber für uns war es einfach lecker und völlig ausreichend. Nur die Gegend ist etwas umständlich: entweder stundenlange Busfahrten oder das Auto wird gebraucht. REWE im Ort, Dienstags leckere Hähnchen. Empfohlen wird auch der Grüne Baum (Hotel) im Ort. Exklusive Speisen und nette Bedienung. Sicher wieder!!!!

Gemütliche Wohnung, super kleine Küche

Angenehme Vermieter (wohnen im selben haus, nur durch Glaswand getrennt), tolle Gegend, sehr gemütliche kleine Wohnung. Aber: sehr kleine Küche. Man kann wenn dann sehr einfache Gerichte kochen, da quasi keine Anrichte und nur zwei kleine Kochplatten. Außerdem ist es zu viert wahrscheinlich schwierig, da es kein größeres Wohnzimmer gibt und man sich sehr auf der Pelle sitzen würde. Zu zweit aber sehr schnuckelig, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt!

Sauber, freundlich zental gelegen. Frühstück auf dem Sonnenbalkon

Wir waren für ein Wochenende hier zu Gast und sehr zu frieden. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt, die Gastgeber freundlich. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Frühstück auf dem sonnigen Balkon mit Blick über Schmiedefeld in den Thüringer Wald.

Nette kleine Fewo mit allem was man braucht, unser Hund war willkommen, die Familie sehr nett. Das Frühstück war mit viel Liebe zum Detail.

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung, bei der es an nichts fehlt

Wir verbrachten einen verschneiten Aufenthalt in der gemütlichen Ferienwohnung der Familie Hohmann. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundliche. Die Lage in Schmiedefeld ist sehr gut. Ein REWE Markt (mit Bäcker) und die Touristeninformation sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir sind jeden Tag nach Oberhof zum Biathlon Weltcup gependelt, ein extra eingerichteter Shuttle von Schmiedefeld war ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!
