“It's Clean, it's reasonably close to the busier parts of HaiPhong, but.... And this is quite disappointing. IF YOU BOOK HERE BE PREPARED FOR SOME TYPE OF EXTRA FEES TO SCAM YOU OUT OF MONEY We arrived & were told a story that the room that we booked had broken air-conditioning. The lady said we would have to pay extra 120,000 dong for a different, bigger room for 4 nights, plus we must pay extra 30,000d for cleaning fees. We showed our booking confirmation through Expedia which didn't mention……

“ I would give it 2 stars. Slept with the furniture and my luggage pushed against the door and worried about my stuff when I went out. Nothing happened so perhaps I was paranoid and it's an interesting neighborhood, very:"authentically Vietnamese " as they say. I developed some silly, Western urge to eat something "substantial " and eat it sitting in a chair, not on a stool, and probably walked 3 kilometers before I found such a place. I thought about staying longer, but that seemed silly,……
