“Absolute gem - beautiful accommodation and fabulous staff.
Highlight of my stay was throwing the ball for their two awesome Border Collies and chatting to the staff/managers at breakfast. ”
“Lovely staff, beautiful grounds, spacious room to a fairly high standard. Dog friendly: in the bar area only, but that is just as nice as the main restaurant.”
“A simple hotel in the middle of Stourbridge. Rooms are adequate in size, the bed is comfortable and there's a good shower in the bathroom.
There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent.
Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful.”
“The access to the property was very simple to follow and the breakfast was lovely! We could have done with extra fab as it was very hot in the room and the one working fan didn’t do a lot. We had a lovely stay though, thank you ”
“Had a lovely one night stay in cottage 3. Room was clean and quite with lovely views.
Only thing missing was a curtain/blind for the small bathroom window but other than that perfect.
Will definitely stay again.”
“Grafton Manor is a unique hotel with old world charm. The star were without exception friendly and helpful and the breakfast and dinner was excellent!”
“The property is great. I was traveling with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and nephew (16 yrs old). The unit has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It's a large space approximately 600 sqft. There is also parking which is a big plus in England.
The unit does not indicate it has a washer and dryer but the picture of the unit clearly shows a washer. Unfortunately there's no dryer and since we were traveling during the winter it took a long time for the clothes to hang dry. We were in outer Birmingham……
“We had a great stay. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and communicative before we came up.
We will definitely use again, next time we come up and stay!”
“Very efficient, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The surrounding area felt a bit run down and unsafe. However the train station was nearby and there are several bus routes available. ”
“After a long motorbike trip from Plymouth to Harrogate my husband stayed here for a night half way he said it was an absolute gem and loved his room and bathroom. The pub was welcoming and friendly and had a food truck too. ”
“This price is not worth it. We booked one night, when we arrived at the hotel, there keycard system something wrong, we got the room without keycard for few hours, really inconvenient. We went to swimming pool, though the door without keycard, so we can’t entre, we back to reception again, after that we were waiting for the leisure reception staff a long time, really angry about it.”
“The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.
Thank you for a lovely couple of……
